IntelliNet Technologies offers a standards-based (IETF RFC, ETSI and 3GPP-IMS) implementation of DIAMETER as part of the IMS framework. The IntelliNet DIAMETER can be seamlessly introduced into IMS-based IP networks, providing enhanced performance reliability and control functions. In addition, this robust protocol provides reliable transport in wireless networks and multimedia frameworks. IntelliNet implements its DIAMETER with support for SCTP or TCP transports. The architecture is based on DIAMETER modules that include the implementation stack, the API layer and the Accelero™ Application Development Software. The implementation stack is OS independent so it can run on open platforms.
